A Final Word

I made it back to Canada in one piece with a whole lot less than I started out with (my bag was only 16kg). I headed right back to Squamish to get settled, but it didn't feel like I was back for good at all; more like a quick visit before leaving again. It has now been a week and I am getting used to the idea of being around for a while. Last week I got a new mobile (604-846-0607) and a computer (20" iMac - there was no way I was going to use Vista). Yesterday was spent car shopping; it looks like a Pontiac Vibe or Toyota Matrix are going to be purchased in my near future. I have a job interview lined up, so if that comes through I will make the move down to the city pretty quick.

So this is the end of my travel blog. I am sure I will start a new one for the next trip I go on (maybe a North American Road Trip), but I haven't decided if I will start a general one in the meantime.

All in all I was gone for about 750 days, visited 30+ countries and had a total cost of ~$35,000.
It was definitely the best thing I ever could have done at the time, but it is now time to try something different for a while.
